On the eastern side of the island, you will find the Morris Island Lighthouse and on the western side of the island you will find the Folly Beach County Park. Both landmarks offer you a full day of exploration and fun in the sun. In the middle of the island is the Edwin S. Taylor Folly Beach Fishing Pier, which extends more than 1,000 feet into the Atlantic Ocean. It is the second largest pier on the east coast You can participate in a fishing tournament on the pier or one of many activities that are going on throughout the year.
